Zimbabwe: Bid documents for emergency project

Bid documents are now available for the first stage of Zimbabwe’s Emergency Power Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project Phase II. First-stage work includes the supply and installation of transformers at Marvel, Chertsey and Orange Grove substations and rehabilitation of substations at Prince Edward water treatment plant in Harare, and the Crowborough and Firle sewage treatment works. Also included is the installation of an ash dam dust suppression system at Hwange thermal power station and provision of project management and audit services. Work is being funded by a grant from the Zimbabwe Multi-Donor Trust Fund.
