The Saudi-led campaign continues to provoke international condemnation, most recently in a confidential draft report from the United Nations which, according to a 3 October report by Reuters, listed Saudi Arabia among a list of actors responsible for the killing and maiming of children in Yemen. Riyadh was listed as an offender alongside Houthi rebels, President Abed Rabbou Mansour Hadi’s government forces and Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) in the annual Children and Armed Conflict report, which is due to be discussed by the UN Security Council on 31 October.
