Progress by the Saudi-led coalition continues to ebb and flow, with gains in some areas offset by continued resistance from Houthis and Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). A planned advance on key Houthi logistics hub Hodeida has been delayed while the coalition attempts to neuter Houthi flanking attacks from the Khalid Ibn Walid base near Taizz. Under the banner of Operation Naval Arrow, preparations continue for an assault on Hodeida, with the immediate requirement focused on removing sea mines and other naval threats.
