Upstream update: Namibia stalls on Kudu, exploration, amid political turmoil

Political upheaval at NamPower could spell further delays for the Kudu gas development, following the late 2014 departure of upstream partners Tullow Oil and Itochu. With power shortages looming, the government says it is committed to continuing with the project. It has asked potential contractors to revise their past proposals and is looking at potential new partners.
