A succession of Middle East leaders have passed through the White House in recent weeks, with more lined up to call as President Donald Trump tries to get to grips with the region, where problems from stabilising Iraq to aircraft security continue to complicate the United States’ relations with the region.Most widely remarked was Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s 15 March talks in Washington, which were said to cover a broad range of political, military, security, economic, cultural and social issues.
