A main road in Abu Dhabi has been named after King Abdullah Bin Abdelaziz Al-Saud. State news agency Wam said Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, acting on a presidential directive, gave the order to rename the road, which is a major artery in the city. It runs to the presidential palace and various landmarks, including the Emirates Palace Hotel, Etihad Towers and other government buildings. Abu Dhabi has been renaming its roads in recent months, replacing numbers with names, many of which honour prominent Emiratis.
