UAE: Mohammed Bin Zayed meets Jordan’s king, calls Merkel

MBZ hosted King Abdullah II of Jordan at Al-Bateen Palace on 22 May for talks on regional crises and bilateral relations. The two leaders said they were co-ordinating their responses to regional developments and were due to conduct joint military exercises in the near future. Also at the meeting was Jordanian Crown Prince Hussain Bin Abdullah, foreign affairs and expatriates minister Ayman Al-Safadi and Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Lieutenant General Mahmoud Freihat.
