UAE: Khalid Bin Mohammed rises further in Abu Dhabi government

Several decrees making government appointments were issued in the name of President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan in early October. Some concern Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan’s sons, including Abu Dhabi Executive Council (Adec) member Sheikh Khalid Bin Mohammed Bin Zayed, who was appointed chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office. He replaces Ahmed Mubarak Al-Mazrouei, who was appointed chairman of Adec’s new ‘Office of the Chairman’ (Adec is chaired by MBZ).
