A federal cabinet reshuffle unveiled on 19 October contained few surprises, despite a promise by federal prime minister and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum (MBR) of “fresh blood” for the government. The most important ministers all remained in post, but among the stream of Tweets announcing the changes issued by MBR as GSN went to press were some notable moves in junior posts.
