UAE: Hamdan Bin Mohammed gets Expo 2020 ball rolling

Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, who is chairman of Dubai Executive Council, got the Expo 2020 ball rolling on 3 February, when he chaired the first preparatory meeting of the Higher Committee of Dubai Expo 2020. Others at the meetings were Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, the uncle of Dubai ruler Mohammed Bin Rashid who led the Expo bid and is chairman of the above mentioned committee, Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun Al-Nahyan, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, Reem Bint Ibrahim Al-Hashimi, minister of state and managing director of the committee, and Khalid Ghanem Al-Ghaith, assistant foreign minister for economic affairs.
