Dubai International Airport had more international passengers passing through in the year to end March 2014 than any other airport, according to new figures released by the Airports Council International (ACI). Dubai saw a total of 67.7m passengers (13.9% higher than the year before) compared to Heathrow’s 66.8m; third was Hong Kong and fourth Paris Charles de Gaulle. Dubai had already topped the rankings for the first three months of the year so its latest milestone is not a surprise.
