UAE: Ambassadors shuffled in Moscow and Paris

One of the UAE’s leading diplomats, Omar Saif Ghobash, has left his post as ambassador to Russia after eight years and moved to head the federation’s mission in Paris. Ghobash formally presented his credentials to President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace on 19 December. At the same time, Maadhad Hareb Al-Khyeli has moved in the opposite direction, leaving Paris to replace Ghobash as ambassador in Moscow.
