UAE: Abu Dhabi Executive Council reshuffle

Four new Abu Dhabi Executive Council (ADEC) members were sworn in by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed (MBZ) on 10 March, following their appointment by emiri decree in January. They included Sheikhs Tahnoun Bin Zayed and Khalid Bin Mohammed – the latter is MBZ’s second son on the council, joining Sheikh Theyab.Tahnoun, MBZ’s full brother, was appointed deputy national security adviser in March 2014; in early 2016 he began to be referred to as national security adviser.
