The revitalisation of relations between the UK and the UAE, evident over the past couple of years, continued with the signing of two co-operation and intelligence exchange agreements on 27 May. Interior minister Lieutenant General Saif Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan attended the signing in Abu Dhabi of an agreement between his ministry and Britain’s National Crime Agency which will see the two co-operate further on police work, including training, exchanging information and supporting UK and UAE victims of crime.
