Turkey: Boycott puts fresh economic pressure on Ankara

Senior royal family and business figures have told their compatriots to avoid investing in Turkey or even consuming Turkish goods, in the latest fallout from the murder last year of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The Saudi Embassy in Ankara and Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman Ajlan Al-Ajlan both advised Saudis not to invest, citing allegations of fraud and a lack of protection for investors.
