Tullow prepares for Mauritania exploration

Tullow Oil has opened an office in Nouakchott in preparation for the start of a four-well exploration programme and increased operational activity. Tullow has stakes in nine licences in Mauritania, and a cabinet meeting on 14 March approved a draft production-sharing agreement to be signed with the company for a new shallow-water offshore block.
