The Saudi Royal Court’s head of media Saud Abdullah Al-Qahtani remains in the public eye not least because of his active use of Twitter. In a late July piece in Al-Arabiya English, Al-Qahtani has added to the claims he made in June of an alleged plot by Qatar and Libya to have the late King Abdullah Bin Abdelaziz assassinated, saying that Qatar’s Father Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani stood down in 2013 after he was confronted by other GCC leaders over the claims.
