The Togolese government and Groupe Eranove held a formal ceremony on 12 June to launch the construction of the 65MW Kékéli combined cycle gas turbine power plant in the Lomé port area. The ceremony follows the signing on 23 October of a concession agreement for the design, financing, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the power station.
