Prince Talal Bin Abdelaziz, father of billionaire investor Prince Alwaleed, has played down his land holdings, comparing himself to others he said had 500m square metres. “I do not have more than 40,000 square metres of land in my country, only the land of my house and around some small pieces,” he wrote on Twitter, calling for a “package of reforms”. Talal is known to be outspoken, and in November resigned from the Allegiance Council.
