Sonatrach awards contracts worth $573m

State energy company Sonatrach on 13 September announced that it had awarded four contracts totaling more than $573m to Schlumberger and Halliburton Entreprise de Services aux Puits (HESP) for logging, testing and other drilling operations in so far unspecified acreage. Schlumberger’s two contracts are worth $341m-plus and HESP’s orders were valued at $232m, Sonatrach said.
