Sharjah Emir and Family: December

Before travelling to Saudi Arabia in mid-December to meet King Salman Bin Abdelaziz Al Saud, Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi received an academic delegation from Cambridge University. The emir’s daughter, Sheikha Bodour, who chairs the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, also attended the meeting. Sheikh Sultan’s cousin, deputy ruler Sheikh Ahmed, travelled with the emir to the kingdom; while there he chaired a meeting of the board of trustees of the American University of Sharjah (which he is president of) at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Jeddah.
