Security college: Baghdad re-joins regional centre
Iraq has rejoined the Naif University for Security Sciences in Saudi Arabia for the first time since 1990, after what the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs described as “intensive efforts” by its embassy in Riyadh. The university was set up in 1978 as the academic arm of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. Headed by haematologist Dr Abdulmajeed Bin Abdullah Al-Banyan, it provides postgraduate studies, training and research.
