Saudi Arabia welcomes bankruptcy law

King Salman Bin Abdelaziz has approved the kingdom’s first bankruptcy law, which analysts say will make it easier to deal with corporate failures and could give banks greater confidence to lend to local businesses. The lack of an insolvency regime was a key weakness for Saudi businesses.
