Prince Talal Bin Abdelaziz, once known as the ‘red prince’, in an interview with AFP called for democratic reforms in the Kingdom, including holding parliamentary elections. “Until elections are held, God willing, the Majlis Al-Shura should be given the power to legislate, approve the budget and hold officials accountable,” the 82-year-old prince said.
