Saudi Arabia: Publisher’s TV launch

The Arab world’s largest publishing firm Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG) on 20 September announced an agreement with Bloomberg to launch a multi-platform Arabic language service. A 24-hour television and radio network and digital platform will be launched under the Bloomberg Al-Arabiya’ banner, alongside Bloomberg Businessweek magazine in Arabic. SRMG chairman Prince Bader Bin Abdullah Al-Saud said the partnership would greatly enhance the media landscape in the region.
