Saudi Arabia: Profile of Abdullah Bin Musaid

Campden FB, a magazine aimed at “business-owning families of substantial wealth”, recently published an interesting profile of Prince Abdullah Bin Musaid Bin Abdelaziz Al-Saud, the prominent businessman who was appointed head of Youth Welfare and chair of the Saudi Olympic Committee in 2014. The magazine described how the prince, who owns 50% of British football club Sheffield United, made his money “through old-fashioned hard work”. Now 49, it was in 1989 that Abdullah founded what would become one of the Arab world’s most successful tissue paper manufacturers – with revenues of $266m in 2014.
