Saudi Arabia: Prestigious appointments for members of the Al-Saud’s junior branches

Two princesses from the Al-Saud’s junior or cadet branches have been appointed to senior positions. Princess Haifa Bint Mohammed Bin Saud Bin Khalid Bin Mohammed Bin Abdelrahman was appointed on 14 January, to the General Authority of Civil Aviation board as a representative of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (she is its vice-president, strategy). Haifa Bint Mohammed – whose great-great grandfather was a brother of King Abdelaziz (Ibn Saud) – has US and UK business administration degrees.
