Saudi Arabia: North-west tribe affirms loyalty

Members of the Al-Huwaitat tribe in the Tabuk region, led by Sheikh Aoun Abu Taqeeqah, have expressed their loyalty to King Salman Bin Abdelaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS), in the wake of recent widely-publicised protests. As noted by GSN, Abdul Rahim Al-Huwaiti was killed in a clash with security forces on 13 April after refusing to vacate his home to make way for the futuristic Neom city development, an incident which prompted further protests from Al-Huwaitat members.
