Saudi Arabia: More European suppliers halt arms sales

The number of countries blocking arms sales to Riyadh as a result of concerns over Saudi actions in Yemen and the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi continues to grow – although as yet those taking action are only second tier suppliers. On 22 November, Denmark and Finland both said they had halted defence exports to the kingdom. Finland is also blocking sales to the UAE. It follows similar moves from Germany and Norway.
