Saudi Arabia: MBS aides in Turkey indicted over Khashoggi murder

Istanbul’s chief prosecutor indicted 20 Saudi officials on 25 March for their roles in the October 2018 murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. Turkish authorities are seeking life sentences for 18 of the men for carrying out the murder, while the other two officials – former General Intelligence Directorate deputy head Ahmed Al-Asiri and former royal court adviser Saud Al-Qahtani – have been charged with “incitement to first degree murder”.
