Saudi Arabia: MBN under extreme pressure

Further reports are emerging about the extent to which former crown prince Mohammed Bin Nayef Bin Abdelaziz came under pressure to stand down so King Salman Bin Abdelaziz could appoint his son Prince Mohammed Bin Salman as heir to the throne. Reuters reported that Salman ordered MBN to stand aside on 20 June, arguing that an addiction to painkilling drugs was clouding his judgment
