Amid claims that he is being outflanked by his much younger half brother, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Nayef (MBN) has been raising his profile. His principal fief, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) on 5 May signed a 12-month lobbying agreement worth $5.4m with the Scottsdale, Arizona-based Sonoran Policy Group (SPG). SPG chairman Robert Stryk and MoI director of intellectual security Khalid Al-Ghannam signed the contract, which can be seen at the Department of Justice’s Foreign Agents Registration Act website.
