Saudi Arabia: King offers public support for heir in Shura speech

King Salman Bin Abdelaziz offered some very public backing for the economic reforms being championed by his son, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS), in a speech opening the latest session of the Shura Council on 19 November.“Saudi Arabia is undergoing a development shift at all levels as a result of the plans and programmes of Vision 2030,” the monarch said.
