Saudi Arabia: King hosts Bahrainis in Tangier

King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud hosted a lunch banquet on 19 July for Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa at the Saudi king’s official residence in Tangier, where he was on holiday. The two rulers discussed the “robust fraternal relations” between their countries, according to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA). King Hamad returned to Bahrain on 22 July. The king is expected to stay in Tangier through much of August, with events including a royal marriage planned there. On 23 July, King Salman sent a telegram of condolences to German Chancellor Angela Merkel following a terrorist attack in Munich.
