Prince Abdelrahman Bin Faisal Bin Abdelaziz died on 5 March, aged 73. He was a son of King Faisal and Iffat Munira of the Al-Thunayyan branch. Abdelrahman was a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (1962) and Princeton University, served in the Saudi army and had some business interests. He was married to a daughter of King Khalid. His daughter, Bandari, is director-general of the King Khalid Foundation, which runs an anti-domestic abuse campaign called ‘No More Abuse’. Second deputy premier Prince Miqrin Bin Abdelaziz performed the funeral prayers for Prince Abdelrahman.
