Saudi Arabia: Faisal Bin Bandar visits injured

Riyadh governor Prince Faisal Bin Bandar was pictured in local media visiting Corporal Gibran Jaber Awagy in hospital on 9 January. Awagy was injured in the assault on an alleged Islamic State (IS or Daesh) cell in the Al-Yasmin district of northern Riyadh two days earlier. On the orders of interior minister Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Nayef, the Order of Courage is to be conferred on the security personnel who took part in the operation, which led to the deaths of alleged terrorists Tayea Salem Bin Yaslam Al-Sayari and Talal Bin Samran Al-Saedi.
