Saudi Arabia: Contract for US warships moves forward

US defence giant Lockheed Martin Corporation has been awarded a $450m contract to begin the detailed design and planning for the construction of four multi-mission surface combatant (MMSC) ships for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces.
