Saudi Arabia: BAE Systems ordered to pay sexual harassment claim

The UK’s largest defence contractor, BAE Systems, has been ordered by the Court of Appeal in London to pay more than £360,000 ($476,096) in damages to a former employee who suffered bullying and sexual harassment at the hands of colleagues working on the mega-contract to supply aircraft to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). Marion Konczak was employed as a secretary on the Al-Yamamah Integrated Project Team (AYIPT) from September 1999 to January 2005.
