Saudi Arabia: Alwaleed Bin Talal’s Sale of Syrian hotel

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal has sold his stake in the Four Seasons hotel in Damascus, The Financial Times reported. The buyer is said to be Samer Foz, a businessman with close links to President Bashar Al-Assad. The deal is thought to have been completed while Alwaleed was detained in the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Riyadh during the recent anti-corruption campaign.
