Saudi Arabia: Ministerial reshuffle

King Abdullah Bin Abdelaziz ordered a major ministerial reshuffle on 8 December, removing six ministers and naming their replacements, and filling two ministries (health and culture) that were already vacant. The ministers of Islamic affairs, higher education, communications and information technology, agriculture, social affairs and transport were all relieved of their posts “at their request”, as is the official parlance; for a full list of who is in and who out, see below.
