Two application processes closed on 6 June as French utility Engie looks for start-ups and innovative companies working in electric clean cooking and urban electricity and clean water solutions. The latest Sustainable Development Goal 7 Global Tracking Report released last month estimated that only 14% of people in sub-Saharan Africa have access to clean cooking fuels and technologies.
