Qatari emir in dialogue with Iranians on imprisoned Bahraini cleric

Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani on 8 March held talks in Doha with Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. This was followed two days later by a meeting with the spokesman for the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Sayyid Hossein Naqavi Hosseini. On the agenda at both meetings was the case of Bahrain’s Ayatollah Isa Qassim.
