Issue 1102 - 09 May 2020 | 1 minute read

Abdulhadi Mana Al-Hajri, a brother-in-law of Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, has been identified as the buyer of the Ritz hotel in London by The Financial Times, citing filings with the UK’s Companies House. Al-Hajri’s sister is Sheikha Al-Anoud Bint Mana Al-Hajri, Tamim’s second wife. The hotel was sold in March for an undisclosed price. It was previously owned by the secretive family of brothers Frederick and David Barclay. The London Ritz is currently closed due to the coronavirus crisis.
