Qatar: Emir Tamim Bin Hamad hosts Sri Lankan president

Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani held talks with President Maithripala Sirisena on 26 October, during the Sri Lankan leader’s two-day state visit. Among the items up for discussion was a request by Sirisena for Qatar Airways to enter into a partnership with SriLankan Airlines; both are members of the OneWorld alliance.
