Qatar, UAE royals diverge over Trump travel ban

Qatari foreign minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Bin Jassim Al-Thani travelled to Belgrade on 30 January for talks with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic. While there he expressed opposition to the move by US President Donald Trump to ban citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the US. “When it comes to be addressed in a Muslim framework, I think this is something we will stand against,” Sheikh Mohammed said. “We hope that they are going to do the right thing.”
