Production deal for Chinese military vehicles

Oman is to start producing high-mobility vehicles in Duqm, following investment from China’s Xiaolong Automotive Technologies. The vehicles – which can have dual military and civilian uses – will be produced in the port city’s China-Oman Industrial Park, which is part of a wave of investment by Chinese firms in the area.The local Muscat Daily reported in early August that a site has been identified.
