Opec extends production cuts to December 2018

Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) members agreed to extend their crude oil production limits until the end of 2018, at a meeting in Vienna on 30 November. The cuts had been due to expire in March. Opec states including Saudi Arabia have again been joined by non-member countries including Russia, Bahrain and Oman in agreeing the cuts.
