Oman: Typhoon and Hawk deliveries

Minister responsible for defence affairs Sayyid Badr Bin Saud Bin Harib Al-Busaidi has taken delivery of the first batch of Typhoon fighters and Hawk training aircraft from the UK’s BAE Systems. The handover ceremony held at Warton Airbase, Lancashire on 15 May was attended by ambassador to the UK Sheikh Abdelaziz Bin Abdullah Al-Hinai and Royal Air Force of Oman Air Vice Marshal Mattar Bin Ali Al-Obaidani, along with officials from the UK Ministry of Defence.
