Oman: Al-Tamimi ordered to pay Muscat’s legal costs

Muscat has secured a court ruling that American businessman Adel Al-Tamimi must pay it $5.6m in costs. The Oman government had filed its law suit with the Massachusetts District Court in June, in an attempt to enforce an award made against Al-Tamimi in arbitration proceedings under the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
