Oman’s Duqm refinery breaks ground

Duqm Refineries and Petrochemical Industries Company – a 50/50 joint venture of Oman Oil Company and Kuwait Petroleum International – broke ground on the site of the new Duqm refinery at a ceremony held on 26 April. Oman’s third refinery will have a capacity of 230,000 b/d and forms a key part of the Duqm Special Economic Zone.
